Westcroft Capital Management, LLC. was formed on January 7, 2009, as a Maryland Limited Liability Company. Our management team comprises over 50 years of combined expertise in financial analysis supporting investment theses in equity and fixed income instruments along with various private placements.

In its earliest days following the passage of the Troubled Asset Relief Program(TARP) during the Great Recession, the fund began investing in deeply discounted Trust Preferred Securities (TruPS) of major US financial institutions issued by US banks and insurance companies.

Today the portfolio does not hold any of the distressed TruPS purchased following the financial crisis. As the global financial crisis began to ease after 2010 the TruPS held in the portfolio were gradually redeemed by the issuing institutions at par or sold by the manager at substantial gains.

These proceeds have been reallocated over time to build a diversified portfolio emphasizing recurring cash flow streams alongside selectively chosen growth investments. This balanced approach is designed to support disciplined capital allocation and prudent risk management while seeking to enhance long-term capital returns relative to broadly followed market benchmarks.
